Gniew (Anger) is a multimedia performance based on archives of the Poznań 1956 Uprising. The unemotional records intertwine with a metaphor contained in processed images. As we reminisce on those events, we ask about their meaning today. Does the anger which made people take to the streets, anger caused by hunger and humiliation, still linger in us? Can it awaken our solidarity? Can it unite those of us who want for nothing with those who are still poor in our neoliberal paradise?
