Fini Straubinger is an elderly German deaf-blind woman who has devoted her life to helping other disabled people. According to Polish lm critic Jerzy Armata, “This is one of Werner Herzog’s best, most beautiful and most touching documentary lms; a non-traditional one, lled with poetry and interesting comments expressed in aphoristic form not only by the protagonist but also by the director”.
