  • In this study of modern Poland and Europe, King Lear has been transported into the thirty-second century. In the face of imminent death, the authoritarian ruler is giving away all his remaining possessions to his children in the hope that this will allow him to maintain his royal privileges. He is, however, becoming more and more insane. What will the future be able to say about the past that it understood its madness and acknowledged its guilt?
