Short-sightedness (Greek myōpia) is a condition where the eye does not properly focus the light it receives. In reference to the present and the overabundance of images, it may also indicate an insensitivity to stimuli. A series of interventions by artists and designers, located on balconies and façades of the buildings surrounding plac Wolności, encourage our eyes to discover their proper “alertness”, as we will only notice them if we focus, or with the help of available optical devices.
